I saw your story in Spry magazine and was completely touched. We lost our 4 year old son Daegen in 2005, after a two year battle with AML (adult form of leukemia). I don’t know what kind your son had. As I read the article I immediately felt as if I had known you and was inspired to write this email to you. I absolutely love your designs and more importantly I love that your son is a part of it. My son loved butterflies and I can see them on your sight. My husband and I started a foundation in our son’s honor to help other families whose children have cancer as well as to help fund research. It is quite small as of yet but we are building on it, and continue to look for cool fundraisers that will help us with our mission. Please feel free to visit our son’s website http://www.dmanhero.com to see our story. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with your family as you continue to grieve the loss of your son. What I have discovered is that the grieving never ends, just changes some. Our son’s 8th birthday is coming on the 25th of January. I hope to purchase one of your lovely designs in the near future. They are absolutely beautiful and I know that each one of them carries your son’s spirit. Please feel free to email me if you ever just want to talk with a mother who understands and knows your pain. My best to you, your family, and continued success with your business. Hope to hear from you soon.
